Lots of trial and error has finally produced this bracket for the 2020-23 Tacoma's with the front-facing camera.

Specifications:

  • The brackets are made of steel, laser cut for extreme precision and clean lines, and then powder coated matte black to hide it behind the grille.
  • This bracket was made fit to our Pro grilles and those with similar mounting screws. The lower holes that mount to the grille are 9 3/4 inches apart. The top mounts via industrial 3M adhesive which will come with the bracket. If you have a similar grille but the screw holes aren't the same distance, you can drill your own to make it work.
  • This will not work on Pro grilles where the letters mount individually or OEM Pro grilles.

*Camera not included. This camera comes from the stock 2020-22s*

*Limited models do not allow for Camera Cover to be reused*

Doesn’t work on OEM grills

Bracket does not work for OEM trail hunter grills. Bought a grill directly from a Toyota dealership, and there are no mounting holes on the back side of the grill. The bracket is much thicker than the OEM camera mounting bracket, so the camera cover piece does not fit, the tabs snapped off when putting the cover piece back on. I had already cut a hole in my grill for the camera, so I had no choice but to make the bracket work. The 3m foam tape on the top side of the bracket is ****, doesn’t stick to anything. 50 dollars is a lot for a little bracket even if it worked with the grill I wanted

Camera Bracket

It does the trick but some heritage grilles have screw holes, where the grille letters mount to, that are farther apart than the mount holes. It can be overcome by using elongated washers that hold the bracket in place. The bracket is made well but costs too much for its size and material. Otherwise, basically you need it for mounting the camera.
