The Injection Fob is a two piece plastic case that replaces the factory case that comes with the vehicle. Injection molded of high strength and impact resistant ABS plastic.
United StatesI have a ‘23 Tacoma fob and was easy to replace. Fit well. Don’t tighten all the way so the side button that releases the key will not get stuck. If tightened, the button will be difficult to press. But that is something that can be smoothed over time. The screws holding it together are definitely keeping the fob protected and will not come apart compared to the stock fob without screws.

United StatesDecided to get a tougher looking and physically more durable key fob, so I went with AJT. I like the fob a lot, easy to put the inner workings of your stock fob in, tools included. The screws are very small so in case I fumbled one and dropped it I did the work over a cookie sheet…….glad I did. Be super careful putting the spring in it’s a bit tricky the way it goes in and under load it will definitely do its job and spring out of sight! Be careful on this part of the install.
